If repect for the Catholic priest was at its lowest level ever in the history of the Irish church, yesterday's report into clerical sexual child abuse in the diocese of Cloyne, county Cork, has probably put whatever little respect remained on life-support.
One must feel sorry for the many dedicated priests who remain faithful to their calling.
